The Copa de Oro rules, in short
- It is decided over the last 5 races of the season.
- The top 12 after the regular stage enter with a bonus: 15 for the leader and 8 per race win.
- After race 14, the 3 best of the general table outside the Copa join it for the finale.
- A race pays up to 47 points (pole, heat and final); the finale pays x1.5, up to 70.5.
- Champion: the most Copa points among the drivers with at least one final win in the season. The champion also gets 200 points in the general table.
- "Can still win": we give the driver the maximum in every race left (winning every final) and nothing to the others.
