Lights out
Five red lights, a wait you cannot predict, and go when they go out. Measure your reaction time and challenge someone with your link.
Tap Start, wait for the five lights and react when they go out.
You can also use the space bar. Your time includes the delay of your screen and your finger or mouse.

How a start works
- Lights onThe five lights come on one by one, every 1 s.
- The waitAfter the fifth there is a random pause: here, between 0.2 s and 3 s.
- Lights outWhen they all go out, the race is on. That is when you tap.
- Jump startTap before that and it is a jump start: in a real race you get a penalty.

Questions
Why is my time slower on a phone?
The screen and the touch add their own delay. Always compare your times on the same device.
Is my best time saved?
Yes, only in this browser. We do not send it anywhere.
How do I challenge someone?
After a try, tap "Copy link to this result": whoever opens it sees your time and tries to beat it.
